We have stayed there many times. This time, we took dinner there, and quite honestly, it was exceptional, as well a being very good value for money. The quality of the food was super, and there was plenty of choice. The service was exceptional - friendly, attentive and we were just made to feel very comfortable and very welcome. As a result, it was a smashing evening. - look, £100 for an a la carte meal for 2, plus (v good) cocktails, plus bottle of wine - has to be good value. Also, and I know I take this for granted, the situation of the hotel - right on the seafront - is wonderful and we were treated to a superb sunrise this morning,

The facilities at the hotel are excellent. Good car parking which you book in when you register, very easy. Cheerful member of staff to greet you. We were meeting up with our extended family that evening and all decided that the menu had an excellent choice accommodating our one member of our family who is vegan. The meals were tasty, plentiful and well presented. Full marks to the staff who were so nice. The rooms were a good size, en-suite bathrooms clean a good sized bath towels. The shower was lovely and hot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Very comfy room and great large comfortable double bed. Great view of sea and Clacton Pier - double aspect / corner room. Very clean and tidy. Very quiet. Great bar and outdoor seating area. Had BBQ and external bar runninng for the airshow weekend. Brilliant. Restaurant and menu was very good, with waiting staff and management very helpful and friendly. Had external secure gatage to store bikes is for you - very useful. Large car park to rear of hotel - parking included in cost. Second visit and would deinately visit again. Thank you.

We liked our room is was clean, fresh and just right for us both. Breakfast was so nice and tasty loved the porridge with honey and we had an amazing dinner, I had the pork and my best friend had the chicken and they had so much flavour. We were served by a lovely waiter, we're definitely going to be coming back for a visit. Everyone was so lovely there and we had a laugh too. Thank you.

Situation, lovely waterfront position, free parking for residential users. It was in an area I wanted to be for visiting friends. Spacious and traditional building, pleasant room with good bathroom, television in room, comfortable bed.
